INTRODUCTION
That's right ladies and gentlemen, the sun is high in the sky, the days are long, the ground is dry, the breeze is hot and it's Summer Downunder! And what better way to celebrate than with a spot of heated competition that's sure to set fire to the HaRPG world? Yes, get that tack oiled, those horses fit and your boots polished, it's time for #Yawarda to host it's first ANNUAL THREE DAY EVENT!
RULES AND REGULATIONS
- You do NOT have to be #HorseArt-RPG Registered to enter this event
- Reusable line-arts are not allowed. This is a disqualifiable offence
- Tracing is not allowed (excludes skeleton tracing). This is a disqualifiable offence
- Photographic backgrounds/photomanipulations are not allowed. This is a disqualifiable offence
- Any use and/or alteration of another artist's work is not allowed. This is a disqualifiable offence
- Real breeds only
- No ponies
- All images MUST be full body, and include a rider
- HORSES may only enter once. Riders are permitted to enter as many times into as many classes as you see fit
- Any competitor in violation of these rules will NOT be notified, you will simply be disqualified and your entry will not be recognised. It is vital that you read the rules carefully and thoroughly before proceeding with your entry

Pre-registration is compulsory for this event, as you will require a start number. In order to register for this event post a COMMENT below this journal containing the following information filled out. Notes and registration comments posted anywhere but this journal will be ignored. Registration ends 24 hours before the entry deadline

CCI* (Preliminary/Novice)
- Riders must be at least 16 years of age, and horses at least 4 years old
- Horses do not have to have previously competed in a complete Three Day Event
- Cross-country has 30 jumping efforts on a 4509 meter course. The course should be completed in a maximum of 9 minutes. Obstacles are a maximum of 0.95 meters
- Show Jumping has 13 efforts and 10 obstacles. The course is 400 meters. Obstacles are a maximum height of 0.95 meters
CCI** (Intermediate)
- Riders must be at least 16 years of age, and horses at least 5 years old
- Horses must have previously competed in at least one complete Three Day Event
- Cross-country has 35 jumping efforts on a 5220 meter course. The course should be completed in a maximum of 10 minutes. Obstacles are a maximum of 1.10 meters
- Stadium has 14 efforts and 11 obstacles. The course is 450 meters. Obstacles are a maximum of 1.15 meters
CCI*** (Advanced)
- Riders must be at least 18 years of age, and horses at least 6 years old
- Horses must have previously competed in at least two complete Three Day Events, OR placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in at least one complete Three Day Event
- Cross-country has 40 jumping efforts on a 6200 meter course. The course should be completed in a maximum of 11 minutes. Obstacles are a maximum of 1.15 meters
- Stadium has 15 efforts and 12 obstacles. The course is 500 meters. Obstacles are a maximum of 1.20 meters
CCI**** (Elite/Rolex)
- Riders must be at least 18 years of age, and horses at least 7 years old
- Horses must have previously competed in at least 3 complete Three Day Events, OR placed 1st in at least 1 complete Three Day Event
- Cross-country has 45 jumping efforts on a 7200 meter course. The course should be completed in a maximum of 12 minutes. Obstacles are a maximum of 1.20 meters
- Stadium has 16 efforts and 13 obstacles The course is 550 meters. Obstacles are a maximum of 1.25 meters
Please Note: Additional images are not required and will not gain you bonus points in this event, however they are always encouraged
JUDGING SYSTEM
Each of your three images will be judged seperatly as per the following system. Each segment you will get a mark out of 10, each image will give an overall score out of 50, and a combinedl score out of 150. Additional imaged in this event will NOT gain you extra points
Rules: -10 - + 10
This should be a fairly simple 10 points to achieve, so long as you have read and abide by the rules
Attire: 0 - +10
This includes horse's tack, start number, flag and rider's outfit
Scene: 0 - +10
Keeping in mind that this event is set in Australia. Gum trees, rugged terrain, bush land and grassy flats are a must. You can see the Blue Mountains from Yawarda
Attention to Detail: 0 - +10
How much effort has been put into making your piece? Has it been completed to you utmost best efforts? Does it have a story, and does it mesh well with the image?
Composition: 0 - +10
How well put together is your piece, is it pleasing to the eye and are you happy with the overall appearance?
